Sixth Sunday after Pentecost
Come, humble yourselves before God, in awe of his lavish love.
Because of God’s unfailing love, we can enter this house of worship.
Lord, hear us as we pray. Listen to our cries for help.
Each morning we bring our requests to you, and wait with expectation.
Come, let us take refuge in the God of our salvation.
For God is our shield and protection in times of trouble.
Lead us in the right path, O Lord. Make your path obvious for us to follow.
Come, let us celebrate and sing for joy!
For God is surely in this place!
How Does Your Garden Grow?
The Outreach Team has begun a food drive based on specific needs of the Eastern Union County Supplemental Food Program. To celebrate the growing season, we are collecting canned vegetables throughout the summer months. Specific needs include: corn, green beans, peas, mixed vegetables, beets and diced tomatoes.
Donations may be added to our garden located in the large fellowship area. Join us as we ‘live like Jesus by serving’ our neighbors.
Save the Date!
Re-Creation USA will lead a musical time of worship at St. Paul’s on Sunday, July 3, at 6:30PM. Please extend an invitation to friends, family and neighbors!
Since 1983, Re-Creation has assumed full responsibility for live entertainment at our VA Medical Centers, and presents more than 300 shows annually to fund tours to facilities in all 50 states. During worship, a love offering will be received to support this mission.
In addition, a few volunteers are needed to provide a meal for this group of young adults prior to the evening worship service.
Please share your willingness to contribute or assist with Pastor Judi.
